TPO is a highly reflective thermoplastic polyolefin membrane that utilizes a hot air heat weld to seam sheets together to create a solid waterproof roof system that will last for decades. TPO is growing more popular for commercial and industrial properties because of it's durability, affordability, and reflectivity.
PVC is another option that is available that is also highly reflective and very durable. Pvc also utilizes a hot air heat weld to seam. This process creates a lap that is actually stronger than the field sheet. PVC has a superior resistance to grease, fire, chemicals, and punctures.
EPDM is the number one most used roofing membrane for commercial and industrial buildings since it's introduction in the 1960's. A properly installed EPDM roof can last over 30 years if maintained correctly.
Satisfaction with a metal roof can be short lived. The once-alluring benefits of low installation cost and fire resistance can dull in comparison to the necessary upkeep. In just a few years, fastener back-out and rust can lead to leaks that require costly maintence.
We offer retrofit systems that utilize a flute fill insulation, coverboard, and single-ply membrane to build you a new roof system on top of your existing metal roof.
